Daan van der Weijden

Daan van der Weijden is a PhD student at University of Zurich's Institute of Informatics, as part of the Dynamic and Distributed Information Systems Group. With a background in Artificial Intelligence, specialising in Natural Language Processing and Human-Centered Machine Learning, his research focusses on leveraging Large Language Models to help democratic deliberation processes. He holds a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University (Utrecht, the Netherlands), where he also earned their Bachelor Degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Linguistics.
