Gianluca Miscione

Gianluca Miscione is a social scientist whose interest for digital technologies in actual use has led to research digital transformations in the most diverse organizational and social contexts. His research is positioned in the interdisciplinary field of practice studies. His approach highlights the continuous interaction between technologies and organizational relationships, especially in the global context. His studies have been empirically focused on e-health, geographic information systems, and on digital currencies and blockchains. He is a principal member in the research project “Deliberative Quality in Trade-Related International Organizations” funded by the Swiss Network for International Studies, which is being expanded toward traceability of data.
