Sofia Bollo

Sofia Bollo works in academic administration, manages the Doctoral Programme Democracy Studies and is interested in intercultural, international, inclusive projects. She graduated in Chinese Studies from the University of Turin and the School of Oriental and African Studies SOAS in London. She holds an interdisciplinary PhD in Museology, Sinology, Art History, and Anthropology from the University of Zurich (URPP Asia and Europe). For her dissertation, she researched museums in China, focusing on museum narratives about the past and values ascribed to national collections within museums in the present. She collaborates with various museum institutions and coordinates a working group on provenance research in museums under ICOM Italy.
