15.5.2025: DSI AI Meetup: LLMs as a Research Tool in the Social Sciences

The DSI Democracy Community invites to an interdisciplinary roundtable and discussion on the use of large language models (LLMs) as a research tool in the social sciences on may 15. We aim to explore the topic from a variety of angles—including methodological, practical, and ethical perspectives. Many of us already use LLMs in our research, but their use raises important questions, making it all the more valuable to share experiences, reflect on emerging practices, and discuss evolving recommendations.

The roundtable will be followed by an interactive networking session and apéro, offering participants the chance to exchange ideas and connect across research fields.
