The conference "Digital Democracy: Still Loading" organized by the ETH Risk Center together with the UZH Digital Society Initiative (DSI) will be held on 16 March 2023.
The conference “Digital Democracy: Still Loading” organized by the ETH Risk Center together with the UZH Digital Society Initiative (DSI) will be held on 16 March 2023. It discusses the impact of digital technology on democracy and political processes. The presenters address the challenges posed by digitalization by focusing on four main topics of research: The role of algorithms for decision-making, new forms of political participation, the role of social media, and how to govern and regulate digital democracies.
The event takes place on Thursday, 16 March 2023, at Rämistrasse 69 in Zurich, from 1.15 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., followed by Apéro.
