‘DigiVox’ is a new national survey panel specifically dedicated to the study of the social, economic, cultural, political and policy implications of digital media and their interplay with technological developments in Switzerland. Lucas Leemann and Karsten Donnay of the DSI Democracy Community are among the four UZH professors leading the project.

The importance of digital platforms and tools in our everyday lives is quickly rising but the impact of digitalization on Swiss society and politics remains poorly understood. ‘DigiVox’ aims to address this gap providing a new national academic survey panel specifically dedicated to studying these kinds of questions. The project is co-lead by Prof. Dr. Eszter Hargittai (IKMZ), Prof. Dr. Abraham Bernstein (IFI), Prof. Dr. Lucas Leemann (IPZ) and Prof. Dr. Karsten Donnay (IPZ) and generously supported by infrastructure funding of the Digitalisierungsinitiative der Zürcher Hochschulen (DIZH) and the TPF fund of the University of Zurich.
