Theresa Gessler

Theresa Gessler is a professor for democratic political decision-making at the University of Hamburg. She joined the Digital Democracy Lab as a postdoc. Her current research centers around challenges to democracy, such as democratic backsliding, digitalization and political inequalities. In her work, she uses computational social science and text-as-data methods.
